My name is Danielle van den Wijngaarden or DaniLustre and I’m a selftaught illustrator living in a cozy apartment in the Netherlands.

I’ve been drawing for a very long time, have over 5 years of experience as a Graphic Designer in the Games Industry. Still, illustration has always been closest to my heart.

For me art is a form of self-expression and a way to reveal a world that usually only the artist can see. My art or design needs a story or carries a message. I like to get inspired by nature. It has this display of strength that makes me feel energetic and ready to create more art.

From time to time I (re)discover something new about my myself, such as my love for traditional painting.

Finally, I pursue a healthy lifestyle. My ideal daily routine consists of frequent exercise in the form of yoga and lots of creating.
